Back to the description of using csXImage client side.

This example shows how to instantiate the component and allows the user to create a new image in a choice of colours and draw some shapes and lines on it. The important features it shows are how to call up the control, how to access properties and methods using Javascript and how to use the mouse events.

This file can be downloaded - here.

As a very brief summary the Javascript functions are in the header. Then there is a form, called "form1". The csXImage object is generated after the form, and the events are declared immediately after that. The licence information needed by the client comes from our server in the .lpk file and the OCX control is packaged into a CAB file. In this example the CAB file is unsigned but we do supply a signed CAB file with the full version of csXImage.

The object instance is called "csxi".
